DESIGNED UNIQUELY FOR iPAD
The first issue of BABYLON City of Dreams, the only magazine on iPAD truly devoted to creativity, becomes available for free downloading from AppStore on February 3rd. Each monthly issue will provide regular updates and insights directly downloadable from AppStore.
Available in two versions, one in Italian and one in English, the monthly magazine aims to enhance the experience of cultural information through the latest multimedia tools, by creating contents of excellence informed by innovative communication.
With an editorial team of top professionals in the field of publishing and digital communications, BABYLON City of Dreams explore, review and discuss the highest expressions of a creative path that winds through architecture, design, art, fashion, music, literature and cinema.
Each issue will be directed by a “guest editor” among the professionals in the cultural industry, who will provide a personal reflection on the meaning of contemporary aesthetics.
The first issue will be edited by Stefano Casciani, designer, critic, writer and deputy-editor for the Italian magazine Domus and will be focused on the theme of passion, with contributions, among others, of Adam Lowe/Factum Arte, Alessandro Mendini, Piero Bisazza, Sir Paul Smith, David Hockney, Sakaguchi Kyohei.
The magazine is designed, implemented and realized utilizing HTML5/CSS3 and is optimized to enhance its usability on iPad. Imaging, video and audio are all in high definition.
A Full Version with multimedia content will be available for the Wi-Fi environment as well as a Light Version for video downloads on demand. The application comes with an index that will enable the downloading of all future issues.
With a graphic and essential cover, the magazine purposefully avoids special effects and animations. The editorial aim is to entertain the reader with contents of excellence.
